Although some stress isn’t harmful and can be useful in helping us achieve what we want to get done, prolonged stress can have serious health repercussions and will eventually lead to burnout. It may comes as a surprise, but a lot of our prolonged stress and rumination actually comes from our inner monologue, or in other words, our inner critic. Our judgey inner critic can result in feelings of inadequacy and imposter syndrome, which causes us to work from a place of fight or flight. Constantly being in fight or flight is exhausting and has a knock on effect on many areas of our life.

3 month 1:1 career confidence coaching package
This 3 month career confidence process is suitable for women in corporate jobs who:
- are feeling that they are not good enough for the work that they are doing
- dread for the day ahead because of the size of their to-do list
- procrastinate until the last minute on deadlines
- always want to keep other people happy even when it negatively impacts themselves
The process will look like the following:

Session 1: Clarity > We will discuss your priorities, create a clear vision for your life and career, and analyse where you are currently spending your time. We will figure out where we can make quick adjustments to free up more of your precious time.
Session 2: Stress Management > This session which will be dedicated to stress management tools and self-regulation in challenging situations. You will learn how your inner critic impacts your working day by how it judges you, others and stressful situations.
Session 3: Weaken The Inner Critic > We will always have an inner critic because it has evolved within us in order to help us survive in the world. However, we have the control to quieten and weaken the critic so it doesn’t hold power over us anymore. We can thrive and start living the life that we want once we acknowledge the inner critic for what it is. In this session, we will work on tools and techniques to start weakening the inner critic.
Session 4: The 5 Sage Powers > Since we have an inner critic, that means we also have an inner mentor or inner sage. Our inner sage is the wise part that we all have. It helps us to thrive by tackling challenges from a learning and growth mindset rather than from a place of fear. Stanford lecturer, Shirzad Chamine, speaks about how we have 5 strong inner sage powers – empathy, exploration, innovation, navigation, and activation. We will look at situations where you can lean into your inner sage and seamlessly integrating these powers into your working life.
Session 5: Process Goals & Working Styles > Here we will be focused on cultivating self-efficacy through setting process goals. We will look at different working styles and some patterns to be aware of while also honing in on your strengths. Playing to your strengths is one of the fundamentals of positive psychology and can have a positive impact on your working day.
Session 6: Rest & Recovery >Here we will ensure that you have a solid wellness toolkit to rely on in difficult times while also having a daily self care plan which is imperative for rest and recovery.

Why work with me?
A few years ago, I went through a burnout. I was working long hours to try to prove that I was worth my salt (oh hey imposter syndrome) and had developed unhealthy habits from skipping meals to getting 3-4 hours of sleep at night. I started having regular panic attacks coupled with an irrational fear of sleeping, where I became terrified that I wouldn’t wake up. That’s when I knew things were getting serious. I have always said that one of my greatest natural talents is sleeping. Still I ignored these signs and kept going – unhappy, exhausted, anxiety ridden. Finally, it took one particularly bad panic attack to shake me to my core and admit that I was at the end of my tether. I had reached breaking point and I was scared.
I worked hard to understand what was going on and ultimately I realised that I had very little belief in myself, somehow convincing myself that I was no good at anything. I knew something had to change. I have tried and tested all of the tools on myself that I use in sessions and, in doing the work, I came out the other side with renewed confidence, a stronger sense of self, and the ability to be a good friend to myself. To put that into more measurable results, I received a pay raise and numerous spot bonuses due to improvements in my work while in my corporate job, started my own coaching business – something I never would have dreamed of doing a few years ago – and have given 4 successful workshops in the past year on stress management. Don’t get me wrong, I still have strong bouts of imposter syndrome and my inner critic will always be there, but the difference is now that I will not give it the power to control the narrative or stifle my growth anymore.

Sessions are available between the hours of 8am-12pm & 7pm-9pm, Monday-Friday.
